This position is fully remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions via telehealth platforms. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' backgrounds and tailor individualized treatment plans accordingly.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to help patients process their trauma experiences, foster resilience, and develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and mental health professionals to ensure holistic care is provided to all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during acute mental health emergencies, demonstrating a calm and composed demeanor under pressure.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and how to access available resources for further support.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and trainings focused on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed with current research and emerging trends in trauma therapy to enhance treatment efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve individuals affected by various forms of trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma histories, and dissociative disorders. Your role will have a profound impact on improving our patients' mental health outcomes, guiding them toward recovery and resilience in their daily lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team focused on trauma recovery.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling with a focus on trauma-related disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
