Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients suffering from mood disorders, including evaluating the severity, duration, and frequency of symptoms.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at addressing clients' specific challenges, goals, and aspirations.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to guide treatment sessions effectively.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders and associated treatment options, equipping them with knowledge for better self-care practices.

• Track the progress of clients meticulously, adjusting treatment strategies based on feedback and evolving needs.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to guarantee integrated and personalized patient care.

• Engage in continual learning by staying current with the latest research and evidence in the mental health field.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans according to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings to share insights and best practices in treating mood disorders.

• Advocate for patients’ mental health needs and help to de-stigmatize mental health issues within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a licensed mental health therapist at St. Claire Valley Counseling, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. Our clientele is diverse, and your ability to connect with clients from various backgrounds will contribute significantly to their rehabilitation and overall mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Psychologist in Washington State.

• Demonstrated proficiency in using evidence-based treatment models such as CBT and DBT.

• An understanding of psychopharmacology, allowing for effective collaboration with psychiatrists.

• A successful track record in achieving positive outcomes in the treatment of mood disorders.

• Strong communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients and families.
