Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories, enabling the development of personalized treatment plans that focus on recovery and resilience.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), ensuring that care is tailored to individual needs.

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through the processing of trauma, helping them cultivate coping mechanisms, and fostering overall emotional healing.

• Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to create an integrated approach to patient care, including crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and effective treatment modalities, demonstrating strong knowledge of resilience-building approaches.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, exhibiting a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor and the ability to create trust and rapport with patients.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with extensive experience in trauma-focused therapy will be highly regarded. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a team-oriented mindset are also essential for success in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
