Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that take into account the interplay between physical and mental health.

• Develop, implement, and manage integrated treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic protocols for psychiatric conditions influenced by medical ailments.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.

• Work in collaboration with medical providers to ensure multi-faceted care, addressing both mental and physical health challenges.

• Provide crisis intervention support, including immediate assistance during mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients on the importance of mental well-being as it relates to their physical health, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation to comply with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage actively in team meetings, contributing insights to improve care strategies and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be primarily working with a diverse patient population that includes individuals facing a range of complex health issues, including chronic pain, substance abuse, and co-occurring mental and medical disorders. Your role will be pivotal in bridging the gap between mental and physical health, offering support and guidance tailored to the unique circumstances of each patient.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in Nevada.
\n
• Demonstrated expertise in addressing mental health challenges associated with co-occurring medical conditions.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on building rapport with patients and collaborating with healthcare teams.

• Ability to maintain professional boundaries, adhere to ethical conduct, and ensure patient confidentiality.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is beneficial.

• Adept at functioning within an interdisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of direct experience working as a mental health therapist.
