This position offers a remote working arrangement, allowing you to support patients from the comfort of your home while utilizing our telehealth platforms. As part of our team, you will engage in a collaborative, virtual work setting that values open communication, teamwork, and ongoing support among colleagues to ensure the highest quality of care. Flexibility in your schedule may be required based on patient needs, with core working hours typically from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to thoroughly evaluate each patient's trauma history, identifying appropriate therapeutic strategies tailored to individual needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, establish coping mechanisms, and encourage healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide integrated, holistic care for patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring safe and effective responses to critical situations.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and resources available to aid in recovery.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and continuous professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care and the latest therapeutic best practices.

• Engage in ongoing research and learning to stay abreast of advancements in trauma therapy methodologies and strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults and adolescents who have experienced various forms of trauma. This may include individuals who are coping with the aftermath of abuse, neglect, violence, or other adverse experiences. Your compassionate approach will contribute to their healing process, helping them build resilience and work toward improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Nevada.

• Demonstrated knowledge in trauma-informed therapy and resilience-building techniques.
\n
• Proficiency in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong capacity for empathy and understanding.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations, promoting a sense of safety for patients.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, ideally focused on trauma-informed treatment modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Helping Hands Counseling Services offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
