Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient's trauma history and develop tailored treatment strategies.

• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery, coping skills, and resilience-building, continuously adjusting as appropriate based on patient progress.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate effective healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, helping patients to process traumatic experiences, cultivate coping mechanisms, and engage in their healing journeys.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other health care professionals to ensure coordinated care that addresses all aspects of a patient's mental and emotional health.

• Provide crisis intervention for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, using de-escalation techniques and supportive communication to stabilize situations.

• Educate patients and families about common trauma responses, coping strategies, and relevant community resources, enhancing their understanding and ability to participate in treatment.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation practices in compliance with legal standards, ensuring all patient records accurately reflect treatment and progress.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to share insights, strategies, and updates related to trauma-informed care practices.

The ideal candidate will work primarily with trauma survivors, specifically those dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software programs.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
