Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to accurately identify and evaluate the needs of children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that are tailored to each individual’s developmental stage and family dynamics.

• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address specific mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, providing guidance and support to parents and caregivers to promote a nurturing environment.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and other interdisciplinary professionals to coordinate care and ensure the best outcomes for young clients.

• Respond to mental health crises with appropriate crisis intervention strategies and support, ensuring client safety and well-being.

• Educate families about mental health conditions, treatment methodologies, and available community resources to empower informed decision-making.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be primarily focused on working with children and adolescents experiencing a wide spectrum of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, and behavioral problems. This population requires a specially attuned therapeutic approach that respects their developmental stages, encourages open communication, and fosters a safe space for expression.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling preferred.

• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and therapeutic modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on child-centered practices.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and telehealth technologies.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with children, adolescents, and their families.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 100,000 annually, complemented by an attractive sign-on bonus.
