Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough client assessments, employing standardized evaluation tools and interviews to gather essential information about students' mental health and well-being.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based modalities suitable for each individual student, focusing on their particular challenges and strengths.

• Provide individual therapy sessions via telehealth platforms, adjusting your therapeutic approach to accommodate each student's unique needs and preferences, in accordance with their educational schedules.

• Set collaborative and achievable therapeutic goals with students, regularly reviewing and adjusting these objectives based on their progress and feedback.

• Maintain comprehensive, timely documentation of sessions and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and state regulations, while also tracking client outcomes.

• Participate in regular team meetings and professional development workshops, enhancing your clinical skills and keeping abreast of the latest trends in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will primarily focus on school-aged individuals, including those facing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges. Your work will directly impact their academic performance and social interactions, contributing to a healthier, more resilient generation of students.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license in the state of Georgia is required, such as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field, including Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology, is mandatory.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, allowing you to establish a trusting rapport with students and their families.

• Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude are crucial traits for fostering positive client relationships.

• Strong organizational skills are needed to balance client caseloads and meeting administrative requirements efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with children and adolescents in a therapeutic or educational setting, either in-person or via teletherapy.
