Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while ensuring a consistent and supportive work-life balance. The chosen candidate will join a multidisciplinary team focused on child and adolescent mental health. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs. We utilize a sophisticated Electronic Health Record (EHR) system to streamline patient management and documentation processes.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the individual needs of children and adolescents, including their emotional, psychological, and social factors.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment strategies utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, tailored to the unique developmental stages and family dynamics of each patient.

• Provide individual and family therapy, facilitating sessions that empower children and adolescents while also involving their families to create supportive home environments.

• Offer crisis intervention and support during acute mental health crises, demonstrating strong clinical judgment and quick decision-making skills.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of patient interactions, adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines to protect sensitive information.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The role primarily focuses on providing mental health services to children and adolescents facing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues. Qualifications\n

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the State of Georgia.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, with a focus on child and adolescent populations.
