Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive assessments for new patients and their families, focusing on strengths and individual needs.

• Deliver individualized therapy sessions for both individuals and families, tailoring approaches to meet specific therapeutic goals identified during assessments.

• Ensure timely completion of all necessary documentation, including billing, treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms to maintain compliance with organizational policies.

• Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, and wellness strategies to help patients achieve stable and healthy functioning.

• Formulate and implement discharge plans to facilitate seamless transitions for patients exiting care.

• Maintain adherence to all applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and NEHS policies to ensure the highest standards of care.

• Engage in continuous professional development through training and educational opportunities to keep skills current and relevant.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings to foster collaborative treatment planning.

• Complete all requirements for licensure renewal and mandatory training sessions when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Concentra, you will work with a diverse patient base that includes individuals ranging from children to adults. The population features a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and interpersonal issues. Your role will be critical in creating a safe, supportive environment where patients can share their experiences and engage in therapeutic processes geared towards recovery and holistic health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family counseling, or a related field that qualifies for licensure.

• Current licensure as a mental health therapist (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) in the State of Georgia is essential.

While the minimum qualification is a Master’s degree, preference will be given to candidates with professional experience in community mental health settings or healthcare environments where integrated care models are practiced.
