Work Environment\n

As a telehealth-based facility, our therapists enjoy the flexibility of working remotely while being part of a cohesive team. You will operate within a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts required based on patient needs. This arrangement allows for a balanced work-life dynamic while still engaging meaningfully with our young clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that include interviews with children, adolescents, and their families, utilizing standardized instruments where appropriate.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the developmental stages of each patient, considering their unique needs and family dynamics.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and play therapy, addressing issues including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and various behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, providing support and education to parents and caregivers to foster a nurturing home environment.

• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to mental health care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, utilizing established protocols to ensure safety and efficacy.

• Engage in continuous education regarding advancements in mental health treatment for children and adolescents, integrating new approaches and feedback into clinical practice.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation as per legal and ethical standards using a proficient electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations, contributing insights and collaborating with peers for enhanced patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role specifically targets children and adolescents facing diverse mental health challenges, including emotional disturbances, behavioral issues, and developmental disorders. Registered therapists will work closely with families to understand each child's unique situation, ensuring a holistic approach that considers the various contexts and support systems in their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Hold a valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of child and adolescent psychological disorders and therapeutic modalities.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation and case management.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on building rapport and trust with a young, vulnerable population and their families.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
