Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, developing tailored treatment plans that align with each client’s unique needs and therapeutic goals.

• Provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy using evidence-based practices, ensuring all sessions are conducted with professionalism and empathy.

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of client progress and therapeutic interventions according to legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engage in regular supervision and consultation to refine clinical skills and ensure adherence to best practice guidelines.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, referring clients to additional resources or support services as necessary.

• Contribute to the development of community workshops and educational materials that promote mental health awareness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a therapist at Honor Your Emotions, you will work with an array of client demographics, including children, adolescents, adults, and families dealing with various challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our commitment to diversity means we actively encourage applications from bilingual therapists, with additional compensation available for those fluent in Spanish or other languages.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology, or a related mental health field.

• Current licensure within California as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), in good standing with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).

• Registration with the CAQH is required, and being paneled with Alameda Alliance is a valuable asset.
\n
• Exemplary organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple client schedules efficiently.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work cohesively within a team-oriented environment.
