Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify mental health needs, followed by the formulation of tailored treatment plans.

• Deliver individualized, evidence-based therapeutic services to clients, utilizing a variety of modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused techniques.

• Work collaboratively with case managers and other professionals to provide coordinated care, ensuring all aspects of a client’s health are addressed.

• Provide crisis intervention, offering immediate support to clients experiencing acute distress, while managing risks effectively.
\n
• Participate in community outreach programs and workshops aimed at promoting mental health awareness, aiming to reduce stigma and increase access to mental health resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a therapist at our community health clinic, you will work with a diverse clientele encompassing children, adolescents, adults, and families, each facing a variety of mental health challenges. You will engage with individuals from various cultural, socio-economic, and educational backgrounds, ensuring that each client receives culturally competent care tailored to their unique needs.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to establish rapport and strong therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Demonstrated cultural competence to effectively work with a diverse population.
\n
• Strong organizational skills to manage time effectively and maintain up-to-date, accurate documentation of client interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

• We offer a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
