Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents, utilizing clinical interviews and standardized assessment tools to identify their needs.

• Employ a variety of therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family therapy, adjusting strategies based on patient progress.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create coordinated care plans that lead to improved patient outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for children facing mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of all clients.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, intervention strategies, and available community resources to enhance understanding and engagement.

• Maintain all patient records diligently, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards while using our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system for documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role specifically targets children and adolescents facing a plethora of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, Attention- Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and behavioral issues. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing hope and support to these young individuals and their families. By focusing on developmental stages and family systems, you will foster resilience and equip clients with the skills needed to navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• A profound understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, alongside proficiency in the application of evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering both individual and family therapy, with a focus on the pediatric population.

Compensation and Benefits\n
