Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, the Licensed Mental Health Counselor will be responsible for a range of clinical duties that include:

• Managing a caseload of diverse clients, developing strong therapeutic rapport and maintaining professional boundaries at all times.

• Conducting regular client meetings to track progress, discuss treatment plans, schedule appointments, and determine appropriate discharge when warranted.

• Creating, implementing, and monitoring individualized, client-centered treatment plans that address specific needs and goals.
\n
• Maintaining thorough and up-to-date documentation within our electronic health record system, including detailed progress notes for every client session.
\n
• Conducting comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate new clients and identify their mental health needs.
\n
• Administering individual therapy sessions weekly, providing clients with personalized strategies to cope with challenges.
\n
• Engaging in regular individual supervision to support professional growth and enhance clinical skills.
\n
• Collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to client care, exchanging insights and updates as needed.

• Fostering a growth mindset and demonstrating a commitment to ongoing education and self-improvement within the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will be focused on serving youth and their families, addressing a variety of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. Qualifications\n

We are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.

• Ability to fulfill requirements for internal credentialing processes as per our clinical standards.

• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric and/or substance abuse populations.

• Demonstrated expertise in conducting assessments and providing both individual and group therapy sessions.

• Proficient computer skills with experience in electronic health records and basic keyboarding.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in working with children and adolescents, especially those with trauma backgrounds or severe emotional disturbances, will stand out. Familiarity with evidence-based practices and treatment modalities will also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
