Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations: You will perform initial assessments through virtual meetings, collecting detailed histories and understanding the emotional, behavioral, and psychological state of each client.

• Develop personalized treatment plans: Tailor intervention and recovery strategies for individuals, couples, families, and groups based on their unique needs and circumstances.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions: Lead individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities to help clients achieve their mental health goals.

• Monitor client progress: Regularly assess and document client progress on treatment plans during sessions, adjusting approaches as needed to optimize outcomes.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams: Work closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop cohesive intervention strategies for clients.

• Manage client referrals: Guide clients through the referral process to ensure continuity of care and access to additional resources when necessary.

• Educate clients and families: Provide guidance and support to family members or primary caregivers on managing mental health challenges and recovery goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland.

• Successfully passed the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, essential for virtual interactions and documentation.

• Ability to utilize electronic health record systems efficiently, preferably with AVATAR or similar platforms.

• Previous experience in mental health counseling, particularly in telehealth.

• Knowledge of significant physical and emotional health conditions and their interplay with mental health.

• Experience with addiction disorders and the effects of prescribed medications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
