Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, enabling you to connect with clients from the comfort of your home while utilizing a variety of telecommunication platforms for therapy sessions. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will collaborate with other health professionals, including psychiatrists and licensed counselors, to ensure each patient receives holistic and comprehensive care. While our primary operating hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility may be required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to accurately understand clients' histories and tailor treatment interventions accordingly, ensuring their specific needs are met.

• Design, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans directed at trauma recovery, promoting both resilience and emotional well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to drive successful client outcomes.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for clients to process traumatic experiences and share coping strategies.

• Engage in continuous collaboration with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary professionals to ensure each client's comprehensive care aligns with best practices.

• Provide crisis intervention in emergency situations, ensuring that clients feel supported and safe during periods of acute distress.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms, helping to demystify the recovery process.
\n
• Maintain detailed, transparent documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.

• Actively participate in team meetings and case consultations to share insights, learn from colleagues, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

• Stay abreast of new research in trauma therapy to enhance treatment strategies and ensure the practice is rooted in the most current methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients who have experienced trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and related psychological challenges. By employing specialized interventions and a compassionate approach, you will support clients in navigating their emotional landscapes, enhancing their ability to engage with life fully.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and appropriate licensure (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to practice in Texas.
\n
• Demonstrable knowledge of trauma-informed care techniques and resilience-building strategies, enabling effective treatment of trauma-related disorders.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a non-judgmental approach to counseling, fostering a trusting therapeutic alliance with clients.

• Strong ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, exhibiting emotional intelligence and professional integrity.

• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and general computer applications to facilitate efficient documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in a mental health setting, ideally focused on trauma recovery.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 110,000, commensurate with experience and education.
