You will engage in video conferencing sessions, utilize electronic health records (EHR), and access digital therapy tools to deliver effective mental health services from the comfort of your home.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' personal histories and trauma responses, which are critical for determining effective treatment methods.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that focus on the individual needs of trauma survivors, aiming to rebuild resilience and promote healing.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate effective recovery processes.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through their trauma narrative while providing tools to establish coping mechanisms and cope with emotional distress.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for each patient.

• Offer crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, providing immediate support to those in distress.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping techniques, and available mental health resources.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client interactions in compliance with legal standards and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development activities aimed at enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on supporting individuals who have faced trauma and its lasting effects. Many of your clients will be trauma survivors seeking help to process their experiences, regain control of their lives, and foster emotional resilience. You will play a critical role in guiding them through evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to their unique experiences and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas is essential.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, preferably with a focus on trauma.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment strategies.
\n
• Proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and supportive approach towards patients.

• Ability to manage stressful situations with composure and clarity.

Compensation and Benefits\n
