Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' backgrounds and create tailored treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement detailed, individualized treatment plans that promote trauma recovery and resilience.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and foster overall healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care and ensure a holistic approach to patient well-being.

• Offer crisis intervention as required, addressing immediate trauma-related emergencies with confidence and care.
\n
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about trauma responses, coping techniques, and the resources available for ongoing support.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in line with legal and ethical obligations, ensuring compliance at all times.

• Actively participate in routine case consultations, team meetings, and professional development events that emphasize trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay current with the latest developments in trauma therapy, incorporating fresh insights and strategies into your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on individuals who have experienced trauma in various forms. You will work with a diverse clientele, ranging from those with mild trauma-related symptoms to individuals confronting severe, complex trauma conditions. Sensitivity to each patient’s unique experiences and a solid understanding of trauma-informed care principles will be essential for success in this role.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• Strong understanding of trauma-informed treatment practices and interventions.
\n
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage patients with empathy and compassion.

• Technical proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with telehealth platforms.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably dealing with trauma-impacted populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
