This full-time position will allow you to provide trauma-informed care to clients from the comfort of your home, utilizing telehealth methodologies. Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote work setting, allowing you the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions via telehealth. Standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the understanding that flexibility may be required as patients' needs can lead to occasional scheduling adjustments.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed, trauma-informed assessments to understand patient histories and identify treatment needs.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based methods.

• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions, creating a supportive environment for shared experiences and healing.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care for each client.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention as needed during acute trauma-related incidents, ensuring client safety and support.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on effective strategies for managing trauma and utilizing available resources.
\n
• Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations to uphold confidentiality and track progress.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and continuous professional development to remain up-to-date on best practices in trauma care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will work with come from diverse backgrounds and face various mental health challenges primarily rooted in traumatic experiences. This includes individuals dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing tailored support that addresses their unique needs and fosters recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker), LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience providing mental health counseling.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy, compassion, and effective communication.

• Proficient in utilizing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms to manage patient documentation and communication.

• A collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a team-oriented remote environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience specifically working with trauma survivors and conducting trauma-informed therapy.

• Prior involvement in a multi-disciplinary treatment team model.

Compensation and Benefits\n
