Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to gain insight into patients' trauma histories and evaluate their psychological needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual recovery goals, focusing on building resilience and coping strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic practices, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding clients in processing their trauma and working toward recovery.

• Engage in collaborative efforts with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, ensuring an integrated approach to patient care.

• Offer crisis intervention services to clients during trauma-related emergencies, providing immediate support and guidance.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available therapeutic resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with clients who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our goal is to provide tailored therapeutic interventions that support their healing process, ensuring that every client feels respected, understood, and empowered throughout their journey.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related mental health disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong capacity for empathy and support.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
