Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments that thoroughly evaluate patients' trauma histories and determine appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop and tailor individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery and resilience-building in coordination with patient needs.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) through both virtual individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate safe and supportive environments for patients to process trauma experiences, learn effective coping mechanisms, and engage in their healing journeys.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for all patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for clients during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available mental health resources to empower them on their journey to recovery.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for streamlined record-keeping.

• Participate in case discussions, team meetings, and continuing education opportunities to stay updated on the latest findings in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with individuals who have journeyed through trauma and are actively seeking therapeutic support. This includes veterans with PTSD, individuals suffering from complex trauma, and those with dissociative disorders. Your role in providing evidence-based, trauma-informed care is crucial to fostering healing and personal growth, positively impacting the mental health community in Springfield and beyond.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Massachusetts.
\n
• At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in a mental health setting, focusing on trauma-related disorders.

• Deep understanding of trauma-informed treatment modalities and resilience-building techniques.

Compensation and Benefits\n
