Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify patients' trauma history and assign appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that emphasize individual recovery and resilience building.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate patient healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive environment for patients to express their experiences and develop coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other professionals to provide integrated and holistic care.
\n
• Offer timely crisis intervention to support patients during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources, empowering them in their recovery journeys.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation that complies with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engage in case consultations and participate in regular team meetings focused on continuous professional growth and trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to enhance therapeutic efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, addressing conditions such as PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping patients navigate their healing processes, establishing trust and rapport to facilitate meaningful therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts.
\n
• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach.

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrated experience delivering trauma-focused therapies, including EMDR and TF-CBT, is strongly preferred.

• A history of successfully managing high-stress situations with a calm and composed demeanor.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications relevant to patient care.

• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
