Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather comprehensive patient histories and identify optimal treatment pathways.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that are centered on trauma recovery and resilience, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Utilize techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate treatment.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for clients to share their experiences and develop coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide integrated and holistic care.

• Offer crisis intervention support for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring safety and immediate support.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, adaptive coping mechanisms, and available mental health resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working extensively with individuals impacted by various forms of trauma. Your role will emphasize empathy and understanding, as you help clients navigate their experiences and support their journey towards recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

Compensation and Benefits\n
