Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's unique trauma history, which will guide the development of tailored treatment strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support clients in their healing journey.

• Design and execute individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience building, and coping strategies.
\n
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that encourage patients to explore their trauma experiences and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Offer crisis intervention services during traumatic events, providing emotional support and immediate resources as needed.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about understanding trauma responses, reinforcing coping mechanisms and available support systems.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.

• Participate in monthly case consultations and team meetings to share insights and enhance treatment methods based on collective experiences.

• Continuously update knowledge of current trends and best practices in trauma therapy to inform practice and elevate patient care quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will serve a diverse clientele that includes individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma—ranging from emotional and psychological disturbances to acute stress responses. We prioritize a trauma-informed approach, ensuring that every session is conducted with a deep sensitivity to the complexities of trauma and personal narratives of each patient.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
\n
• Possession of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred, equipping you with the necessary skills for independent practice.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective treatment modalities tailored to trauma recovery.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating compassion, empathy, and a non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Crisis management skills, coupled with the ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively in emergency situations.

• Competency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications necessary for documentation and communication.
\n
• A collaborative mindset to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and enhance collective outcomes.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of experience is required, we value prior experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies, along with a strong grasp of resilience-building techniques. Previous involvement in multidisciplinary team environments will be advantageous in promoting integrated patient care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
