Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and determine appropriate treatment modalities.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing patients with the tools to process their trauma and develop healthy coping strategies.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, licensed professionals, and support teams to deliver integrated and comprehensive care to all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that patients receive immediate and appropriate care.

• Educate patients and their families about the impact of trauma, effective coping mechanisms, and resources available for ongoing support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation consistent with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities, including team meetings, and case consultations focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in treatment methodologies related to trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals affected by trauma, including those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and related psychological issues. You will engage with a diverse clientele, providing compassionate care to each patient and respecting their individual experiences and therapeutic needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building techniques.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an innate ability to foster trust and connection with patients.
\n
• Proficiency in utilizing EHR systems and other relevant technology tools for teletherapy.
\n
• A calm and composed demeanor, capable of maintaining professionalism in high-stress situations.

Preferred Experience\n

Two or more years of post-licensure experience in providing psychotherapy to trauma patients is preferred. Prior experience in delivering trauma-focused interventions is highly desirable and will enhance your ability to contribute effectively to our practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n
