Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather intricate details of patients' histories, enhancing the precision of diagnosis and treatment planning.

• Provide therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to the patient’s needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, assisting patients in processing trauma while developing effective coping strategies.

• Engage in ongoing collaboration with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

• Offer crisis intervention services, including immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, to ensure patient safety and facilitate timely recovery.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, resilience strategies, and available community resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of patient interactions in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings, actively contributing to discussions on trauma-informed care best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse group of clients who have experienced various types of trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and related psychological disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders, resilience-building techniques, and trauma-informed interventions.

• Ability to remain calm during high-stress situations, ensuring a steady presence for clients in need.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, ideally in a therapeutic setting focused on trauma recovery.

Compensation and Benefits\n
