Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' history and craft individualized treatment strategies.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that focus on fostering recovery and developing coping strategies tailored to each patient's unique needs.

• Utilize evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in therapy sessions.

• Administer both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at processing trauma, building resilience, and enhancing emotional well-being.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide integrated care and holistic support to patients.

• Provide immediate support and crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies to stabilize and protect patients.

• Engage with patients and their families to educate them about trauma responses and available support systems.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation that complies with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health records (EHR) systems.

• Actively participate in team meetings, seeking continuous improvement and sharing insights from recent advancements in trauma treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of this role is on individuals affected by trauma, including those experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
