Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform detailed trauma-informed assessments to accurately evaluate patients' psychological histories and determine suitable therapeutic strategies.

• Design and execute individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique trauma recovery pathway, focusing on promoting resilience and healing.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions including, but not limited to, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for patients to explore their trauma, learn coping mechanisms, and foster healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating clinical expertise and compassion.

• Educate patients and their families about the impacts of trauma, available coping strategies, and appropriate resources to aid their recovery.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards to ensure high-quality care.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings, contributing to a shared knowledge base focused on trauma-informed care practices.

• Continuously update your knowledge on the latest research and practices in trauma therapy, ensuring that you provide the most current and effective treatments.

Your core focus will be on individuals affected by various trauma-related conditions, including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, exemplifying a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience focusing on trauma therapy preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000, depending on your experience and qualifications.
