Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from your home while maintaining the highest professional standards. Our practice utilizes cutting-edge telehealth technologies to provide seamless and efficient services, enabling you to connect with clients in a supportive and comfortable setting. The anticipated work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some discretion for flexibility based on the needs of clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to thoroughly understand patients' trauma histories and formulate appropriate treatment approaches.

• Develop, implement, and administer customized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery, resilience, and self-empowerment.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to individual client needs.

• Deliver engaging individual and group therapy sessions, equipping clients with tools for processing trauma, developing coping strategies, and fostering healing.
\n
• Work closely with psychiatrists, case managers, and other health professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care plans for patients.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and well-being.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, potential coping mechanisms, and available support resources to enhance their understanding and empowerment.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation consistent with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient management of patient information.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities to stay aligned with trauma-informed care practices.

• Continuously seek to expand your knowledge of the latest developments and research in trauma therapy to enhance the quality of care provided to patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with individuals coping with the aftermath of trauma, including but not limited to those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will engage with a diverse patient population, where sensitivity and understanding of each client's unique narrative are paramount in guiding their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting strongly preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building techniques.
\n
• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, utilizing best practices in mental healthcare.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach in all client interactions.

• A capacity to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations while addressing the needs of clients.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and associated computer applications to efficiently manage patient interactions.

• A collaborative mindset to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and to contribute positively to the organizational culture.

Compensation and Benefits\n
