Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's history and unique experiences.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that address trauma recovery and resilience building, incorporating patient feedback and progress.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through trauma processing, coping strategies, and supportive healing practices.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring a calming and structured response.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms, while highlighting available resources for ongoing support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Proficient knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage empathetically and compassionately with clients.

• Proven ability to perform well in high-pressure situations while maintaining composure and professionalism.

Compensation and Benefits\n
