Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to provide therapy from your home while still being an integral part of our team. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs. As a remote worker, you will utilize teletherapy platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems to deliver services effectively and maintain consistent communication with your colleagues.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and determine appropriate therapeutic approaches.

• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique recovery journey.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging patients to process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.
\n
• Coordinate care with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure that each patient receives holistic support.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention as needed during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients feel safe and supported at all times.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about the effects of trauma, available coping mechanisms, and community resources.
\n
• Maintain detailed and confidential patient records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
\n
• Engage in case consultations and participate actively in team meetings to discuss patient care and share insights on trauma-informed practices.

• Stay informed on the latest developments in trauma therapy to enhance your practice and improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on individuals who have experienced trauma and may be dealing with various aftermaths of their experiences, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and dissociation. The therapist will work closely with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, and families. Your ability to connect with patients from various backgrounds will be crucial in assisting them on their path to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-informed practices and the ability to apply trauma-specific interventions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Strong ability to remain calm under pressure and in high-stress situations.

• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and general computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure clinical experience, particularly in trauma-focused therapy settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
