Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's unique trauma history and formulate effective treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized therapeutic strategies focusing on promoting recovery, resilience, and overall well-being.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, to ensure cohesive and integrated care for each patient.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources.
\n
• Document all interactions and treatments in compliance with legal and ethical standards while ensuring confidentiality.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to share insights and enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

• Commit to ongoing professional development by staying updated on the latest research and advances in trauma treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including but not limited to survivors of abuse, neglect, and other distressing life events. These clients often face challenges related to PTSD, anxiety, depression, and complex trauma reactions. Your role will be pivotal in helping them process their experiences, develop coping mechanisms, and regain a sense of control over their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in a relevant mental health setting.
\n
• Deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Superior interpersonal and communication skills, fostering a compassionate and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship.

• Ability to handle high-stress situations with composure and professionalism.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies, particularly EMDR and TF-CBT.

Compensation and Benefits\n
