Work Environment\n

As a telehealth facility, we promote flexibility and accessibility, allowing you to connect with clients based on their needs without the constraints of a traditional office setting. While our standard working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, we recognize that our patients may require additional time, and therefore some flexibility in scheduling may be necessary.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to gauge patients' trauma history and inform individualized treatment strategies.

• Design and execute tailored treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental well-being.
\n
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic methods, notably Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address clients' psychological needs.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other health professionals to integrate care and ensure comprehensive support for patients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for individuals facing trauma-related safety concerns.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about the dynamics of trauma responses, coping strategies, and available mental health resources.
\n
• Maintain stringent documentation practices to uphold legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality.
\n
• Engage in case consultations and team meetings aimed at enhancing case management and therapeutic practices centered on trauma-informed care.

• Remain informed of the latest research and developments in trauma therapy to continuously improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice is centered on supporting individuals impacted by trauma, including those living with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment strategies.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the capacity to build trust and rapport with clients.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.
\n
• Ability to conduct therapy effectively while remaining calm and composed in high-stress situations.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

• Experience working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
