Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients’ histories and tailor treatment approaches accordingly.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery and resilience-building, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Provide therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support clients in processing trauma.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, helping clients articulate their experiences, develop effective coping strategies, and foster emotional healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for clients by sharing insights and treatment plans.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources for better support.
\n
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and progress in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to share insights, strategies, and updates, fostering a team-based approach to mental health care.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continuously elevate the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients primarily include individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma. This may encompass survivors of abuse, domestic violence, accidents, and other significant life events that have impacted psychological well-being. The focus is on delivering compassionate care tailored to the unique circumstances and needs of each individual, recognizing their strengths and resilience as we guide them on their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience working in mental health settings, ideally with a focus on trauma.
\n
• Substantial knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proficient in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental stance.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and adapt to varied patient needs.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and other relevant computer applications.

• Strong collaboration capabilities for working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

Candidates with a strong background in trauma-informed therapeutic practices and a history of working with diverse populations are preferred. Experience implementing specific therapeutic frameworks such as EMDR or TF-CBT will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits\n
