Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process traumatic experiences, develop healthy coping strategies, and cultivate resilience.

• Engage in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for patients.

• Deliver crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating a calm and professional demeanor.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, available resources, and effective coping mechanisms.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation to comply with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to a collaborative approach to trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in Illinois.

• Proficient knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities is essential.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting focused on trauma recovery.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
