This full-time position offers the flexibility of remote work while remaining connected to a team of passionate clinicians and support staff. Our clinic operates from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, fostering a balanced work-life dynamic. Although remote, collaboration and communication remain paramount, and some flexibility in scheduling may be needed depending on patient requirements. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to gain a deep understanding of patients' trauma backgrounds, establishing tailored treatment pathways.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, resilience-building, and enhancing overall mental well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions in your practice, including techniques like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating safe spaces for patients to process their trauma, develop coping mechanisms, and actively engage in their healing journey.

• Engage with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care, encompassing both mental and physical health considerations.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate assistance and resource allocation.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and community resources available for additional support.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring transparency and accountability in all interactions.

• Participate in team meetings and case consultations, sharing insights and strategies that contribute to enhanced trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay current with ongoing research and best practices in trauma therapy, integrating new knowledge into clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role concentrates primarily on individuals who have experienced trauma, encompassing those affected by post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW-C, LPC, LMFT, LC-MFT, or PsyD in the state of Maryland is required.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate, non-judgmental approach.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

• A collaborative spirit, capable of working effectively within a multidisciplinary team focused on patient well-being.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, reflecting experience and dedication.
