Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to gain insights into patients' trauma histories and identify tailored treatment paths.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, addressing specific symptoms and promoting resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing processes.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions to support clients in processing their trauma, developing coping strategies, and enhancing emotional well-being.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and an interdisciplinary team to ensure that patients receive integrated and holistic care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies and navigate clients through their immediate challenges.
\n
• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources for additional support.
\n
• Keep accurate and confidential patient records to comply with legal and ethical standards, while leveraging electronic health record (EHR) tools for documentation.

• Engage in team meetings and professional development opportunities, continuously updating knowledge on trauma-informed care practices.

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals affected by trauma, including those experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and related dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid mental health license (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) in the state of New Jersey is essential.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is strongly preferred.

• A strong foundation in trauma-informed care, including knowledge of trauma-related disorders and resilience-building methods, is necessary.

• Previous experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions is highly desirable.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations while providing empathetic support.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems is expected.

• Ability to function effectively and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $104,000 annually, reflective of their experience and qualifications.
