Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to accurately evaluate patients' historical trauma and current mental health needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and coping strategies tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.

• Implement and deliver evidence-based therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), assisting patients in their processing of traumatic experiences.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that engage patients in meaningful dialogue about their trauma while promoting emotional healing and resilience.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, actively participating in case consultations and interdisciplinary team meetings.

• Provide crisis intervention services for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, offering immediate support and guidance as needed.

• Educate patients and their families about the impact of trauma, normalizing their responses and equipping them with effective coping mechanisms.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in compliance with ethical standards, ensuring all documentation is precise and up to date.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to client interactions.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems and familiarity with telehealth technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, especially in trauma-focused therapies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
