Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma history and establish a foundation for effective treatment.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that support trauma recovery and resilience, focusing on the unique needs of each patient.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process traumatic experiences, develop coping mechanisms, and foster emotional healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care approaches for patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping strategies, empowering them with tools to navigate their journeys.

• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and security of patient records.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will primarily focus on serving individuals who have experienced trauma, including those living with PTSD and other trauma-related disorders. Therapists will work with a diverse patient demographic, encompassing adolescents and adults, who are eager to begin or continue their healing journeys. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.
