This remote position allows flexibility, enabling you to provide therapy from a comfort-zone that suits you while emphasizing work-life balance. The team operates within a collaborative virtual framework, equipped with tools that ensure communication and integrated care for our clients. Our work hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some need for schedule adjustments to accommodate patient appointments.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each client's unique trauma history and identify suitable treatment strategies.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that focus on facilitating trauma recovery and building resilience in patients.

• Employ various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support client healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions designed to help clients address trauma, develop coping mechanisms, and empower them toward recovery.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure a seamless, integrated approach to patient care.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support to clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on understanding trauma responses, practical coping strategies, and available resources for ongoing support.
\n
• Maintain confidentiality and complete accurate documentation in compliance with legal and professional standards.
\n
• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and continued educational opportunities focused on trauma-informed practices.

• Stay abreast of current research and developments in the field of trauma therapy to continually enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary clientele consists of individuals significantly affected by various trauma experiences, including those diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma responses, and dissociative disorders. The therapist will be instrumental in developing trust and rapport with clients as they navigate their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Washington State.
\n
• A minimum of two years of professional experience post-licensure.
\n
• Comprehensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders, as well as trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Experience with trauma-focused therapies and interventions is essential.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.
\n
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-stress situations.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.
\n
• A strong capability for teamwork, working effectively alongside a multidisciplinary team in a virtual setting.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of post-licensure experience is the requirement, we value additional experience with trauma-focused approaches in diverse therapeutic settings. Familiarity with modern therapeutic software and tools as well as a commitment to ongoing training in trauma therapies enhances your profile for this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
