Work Environment\n

This position offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while also engaging with a collaborative team of mental health professionals in an outpatient setting. You will be expected to work from home with occasional in-office meetings to facilitate teamwork and integrate multidisciplinary approaches to patient care. Your work hours will primarily be Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexible scheduling options based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories, strengths, and needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery, resilience, and overall mental well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in both individual and group therapy settings.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions where patients can process traumatic experiences, develop coping skills, and promote healing.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, comprehensive care tailored to each patient.
\n
• Respond to crisis situations with immediate support, demonstrating a calm and effective presence during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources to empower their recovery.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with established ethical and legal standards.
\n
• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development workshops focused on trauma-informed practices.

• Continuously engage in learning to remain abreast of innovative research and methodologies in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have endured various forms of trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and related disorders. You will work with a diverse clientele, each with unique backgrounds and experiences that require sensitivity, empathy, and specialized intervention strategies to facilitate healing and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and therapeutic approaches rooted in trauma-focused care.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients, their families, and colleagues.

• Calm demeanor and strong problem-solving abilities, particularly in high-stress situations.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with computer applications used in clinical settings.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on holistic patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in providing mental health therapy, particularly in trauma-focused settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $104,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
