Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing our mental health therapists to work from home while engaging seamlessly with colleagues and patients. The core hours for this role are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

The successful candidate will be expected to:

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate a patient's history and determine suitable treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and building resilience in clients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for clients to process their trauma and learn coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated care tailored to the specific needs of each patient.

• Offer crisis intervention and emotional support during emergencies related to trauma.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, community resources, and their treatment journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to foster a collaborative treatment environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic serves a diverse clientele struggling with the effects of trauma. As a therapist, you will play a crucial role in their recovery journey, helping them build resilience and develop practical coping strategies tailored to their unique experiences.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective treatment modalities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental clinical approach.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure environments.

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

The ideal candidate will possess at least 2 years of post-licensure experience, with a stronger emphasis on prior experience in trauma recovery methods. Familiarity with trauma-focused interventions will be advantageous in delivering high-quality care to our patients.
