Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma history, which is essential for tailoring the right therapeutic approach.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to address patients’ unique needs.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for patients to process their trauma, explore coping strategies, and foster a healing environment.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary health professionals to provide integrated and coordinated care, ensuring comprehensive support for our patients.

• Provide crisis intervention for emergency situations, offering immediate support to help patients navigate trauma-related responses.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources, promoting awareness and understanding within the family unit.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in alignment with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to foster a collaborative spirit and improve trauma-informed practices across the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with diverse individuals impacted by trauma, including those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and various dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

Compensation and Benefits\n
