Work Environment\n

This position allows you to work remotely, giving you the flexibility to manage your schedule while ensuring that our clients receive the high-quality care they deserve. Our telehealth facility enables therapists to connect with clients from the comfort of their own homes, offering a convenient and comfortable setting for therapy sessions. While our core working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, we understand the need for flexibility to accommodate varying client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and determine suitable treatment plans.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to assist clients in overcoming their challenges.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a secure space for clients to process their experiences and develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to ensure a holistic approach to integrated client care.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed, responding swiftly to trauma-related emergencies with empathy and professionalism.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping techniques, and available resources for additional support.

• Maintain compliance with legal, ethical, and clinical documentation standards, ensuring accurate and confidential records of client interactions.

• Engage in case consultations, regular team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities centered on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and trends in trauma therapy to facilitate improved client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients primarily consist of individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, leading to conditions such as PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will be instrumental in creating a supportive therapeutic environment that fosters healing and empowerment, ensuring that clients feel understood and valued throughout their treatment journey.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctorate degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.

• Demonstrable knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, exercising a compassionate and non-judgmental approach in therapy.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications integral to mental health service delivery.

• Ability to maintain calm and professional demeanor in high-stress situations.

• A collaborative spirit, ready to work within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling role, with a focus on trauma recovery.

Compensation and Benefits\n
