Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed trauma-informed assessments that capture patients' histories, enabling tailored treatment strategies for recovery and resilience.

• Develop and implement comprehensive individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, integrating therapeutic modalities based on the unique needs of each patient.

• Utilize evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary professionals to provide integrated and holistic care, ensuring all aspects of a patient’s mental health are addressed.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, helping to stabilize patients in distress.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources to foster a better understanding of the healing process.

• Document all patient interactions accurately and confidentially, adhering to both legal standards and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals affected by trauma, encompassing a range of conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will play a critical role in helping these patients navigate their paths toward recovery, utilizing a tailored approach that recognizes and respects each person’s unique experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Oregon.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in providing therapeutic support to individuals with trauma histories.

• Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and approaches for building resilience.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Capability to remain composed and effective in high-stress or crisis situations.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and applicable computer applications to manage patient documentation effectively.

• A commitment to working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

A strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic practices, particularly those focused on trauma recovery, is preferred. Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and expertise.
