Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather comprehensive information regarding patients' trauma histories.

• Devise individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, resilience, and holistic well-being, utilizing evidence-based methods.

• Employ specialized therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a supportive atmosphere for patients to process their experiences and learn coping techniques.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support for trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating compassion and expertise in high-pressure situations.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and the resources available to them.

• Maintain clear, accurate, and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, contributing to the overall integrity of patient care.

• Engage in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities focused on enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay current with the latest research, methodologies, and best practices in trauma therapy to optimize patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work predominantly with trauma survivors, including individuals suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your role involves developing therapeutic relationships with patients, understanding their unique experiences, and guiding them through their healing journeys. By utilizing targeted treatment approaches, you will directly contribute to improving their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW within the state of California.

• Proficiency in delivering trauma-informed therapeutic interventions and assessments.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong emphasis on empathy and active listening.

• Ability to remain composed and effective in high-stress situations, reinforcing a calm therapeutic presence.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications relevant to telehealth.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health therapy, with a focused background in trauma treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
