Work Environment\n

In this fully remote setting, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team focused on trauma-informed care. Our organization values flexibility; while regular office hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility in scheduling may be required to accommodate patient needs. Your role will allow you to engage directly with patients while being supported by a multidisciplinary team of professionals committed to integrated care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), designed to promote healing and recovery.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through processing their trauma and developing effective coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and a range of professionals to ensure holistic and integrated patient care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, utilizing a calm and composed approach.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, proper coping mechanisms, and available community resources to aid in recovery.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
\n
• Engage in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to a culture of continual learning and trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed on the latest research and best practices within the field of trauma therapy, ensuring that your knowledge reflects current trends and methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have recently faced traumatic events or have chronic trauma histories. This includes working with patients with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your expertise will empower these individuals to process their experiences, overcome barriers, and cultivate resilience in their daily lives.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal, empathetic communication, and active listening skills.
\n
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and common computer applications.
\n
• Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in high-stress situations.
\n
• Willingness to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team framework.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, emphasis will be placed on applicants who have demonstrated success in delivering trauma-focused therapies and have a strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles. Proven experience in crisis intervention and group therapy facilitation will be considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits\n
