This full-time, remote position offers you the opportunity to deliver specialized mental health care to individuals who have experienced trauma, with a particular focus on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and determine appropriate treatment approaches.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience building, reflecting the unique needs of each patient.

• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and other modalities tailored to patient needs.

• Delivering both individual and group therapy sessions designed to help patients process trauma, cultivate coping strategies, and enhance emotional healing.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for all patients, thereby improving overall treatment outcomes.

• Administering crisis intervention strategies and providing support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintaining accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participating actively in team meetings, case consultations, and continuous professional development focused on trauma-informed care practices.

• Staying abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy and incorporating this knowledge into your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on working with adults who are navigating the complexities of trauma recovery, including individuals diagnosed with PTSD, those who have experienced complex trauma, and clients exhibiting dissociative disorders. You will provide a safe space where patients can express their challenges, facilitate healing, and work toward rebuilding their lives.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, you must possess the following:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, preferably in trauma-informed care.
\n
• A strong knowledge base of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building strategies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
