Work Environment\n

This position is remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while still enabling you to impact your clients positively. Our typical operating hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs and scheduling. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's unique trauma history and clinical needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to guide clients through their healing journey.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for patients to process their experiences and share coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless, integrated care tailored to each patient's needs.

• Respond to crisis situations with timely interventions and provide support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them with resources for ongoing support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation as per legal, ethical standards, ensuring the integrity of patient records.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health therapist at Peace and Purpose Psychotherapy Center, you will work with a diverse population of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced significant trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling setting, ideally with a focus on trauma.

• A strong grasp of trauma-related disorders, treatment modalities, and resilience-building techniques.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, embodying a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• A calm demeanor and the ability to remain composed under pressure.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
